| Online detection of the steel plate's size is applied widespread and valuable in the manufacturing production. Measurement using CCD has the virtues of non-contact, high accuracy, convenient for computer processing and easy to be connected to the control equipment. For this reason, research on the plate measurement system based on CCD has high practical application value and good prospects.The paper designed the overall protocol of steel plate size on-line detection system, based on the basic principle of measurement system design, and the optimization of existing measurement system. The system is composed of linescan CCD camera, optical imaging systems, data acquisition and processing system and the related hardware interface. The CCD photoelectric transformation module and the signal acquisition and processing system was designed; Several kind of common digital filtering and binaryzation algorithm was researched; Ultimately, the appropriate software algorithms for the single chip computer was established and compiled. It also realized the steel plate center position judgement using single linescan CCD. Finally the paper designed the laboratory testing methods to verify the system .Through laboratory simulation experiments, The results indicate that, when the measured steel plate's width is between 10-20cm, the inaccuracy is less than 1.2mm. |
