Seamless Mobility Between Cdma2000-1x And Wlan

Over past few years, Mobile telephony and Internet have been changing the mode of communication and accessing information, as is improving the life and work efficiency of people.Wireless Mobile Internet has been one of the most important R&D issues all over the world.Different wireless access technologies have different application values.for example,the cellular communications that include current 2.5G and coming 3Getc.may provide all-coverage and mid-bits applications, Wireless local area network(WLAN) may provide short-coverage local mobility,multi-users and broadband wireless access to Internet which can better complement the cellular.The research on the connection of wireless cellular and WLAN will result one active progress to the development of Wireless Mobile Internet, has better theoretic and practical values,and expansive marketing future.The connection of wireless cellular communications and WLAN can take full advantage of each other, and provides consumers much comprehensive wireless service. For the scarcity in the current seamless mobility technology of this aspect, this paper proposes a new mobility management scheme based on Mobile IP technology .It will make for not only seamless data communications but also voice communications between CDMA2000-1X and WLAN.
