Increased information constructing in financial area have boosted the progress of POS (Point of Sales) industry. With the fast development of intelligent card, POS are not only used in financial payment, but also are widely used in public traffic. So research and develop out a stable and suitable subway IC card rechargeable system is praxis meaningful and have important apply value.Firstly, the construction and design methods of embedded system were discussed. Secondly, according to the operation types of bank and rechargeable machine, and combine the business condition of subway system, provided the overall design plan of IC card rechargeable system, explained the function of each model and the whole work flow. Thirdly, give the hardware structure design of rechargeable machine, use the S3C2410 as its kernel microprocessor,designed the memory module and Ithernet interface module. Forthly, studied the function interface of financial gateway and designed its communication flow as sever and client distinctly; according to the communication protocol between rechargeable machine and financial gateway, give the communication realization method; explained the encryption management of data transmission and how to fulfill it. Fifthly, according to the design requirement and method, put forward the software design on rechargeable machine. Designed the IC card operation module,trade operation module,serial communication module and network module in Linux environment and GUI(graphic user interface) module by MiniGui tool. Finally, by constructing the experiment and testing platform, the performance of the rechargeable machine and financial gateway ,and the stability of the trade with bank terminal, were tested.The test results show that, the rechargeable system ran stably, all kinds of trade operation and function could be achieved and attained the anticipated object.
