For the reason of fast increasing of speed and load of network, higher performance is needed for network interconnection equipment. Also, network interconnection equipment has to increase the storage room and the running speed. But if it is designed in this way, the circuit will be more complex, the finite space of PCB will be more crowded and higher running speed will impose larger and larger influence for the integrity of the signal. This article realizes the designing and completion of a controlling board of R37 router, with applying reasonable topology and high-speed PCB technology, its running speed and storage room is increased one more time on the basis of R26. After completion, system can work normally in heatedness test of high-Temperature room and EMI test, also its signal test achieves destination. During the process, I made full use of the conception of Design-simulation -Redesign, and realized the designing via the Ansoft, Cadence SI and some simulation tools. During the process, I have researched the topology optimization of DDR modules and the problem of how to match the Characteristic Impedance of square cross section wire which is affected by the Skin Effect.
