A Research Of Hospital Information Management System And Its Application To Outpatient Clinics

With the overall development of hospital information construction and the constant expansion of diagnosis and therapy businesses as well as continuous increase of various data, it exerts an important part in the construction of modernized hospitals to establish new hospital management systems and methods. The informatization and networking of hospital management work is imperative. It plays a very significant role in carrying out a profound study to the information system, and the development of intelligent hospital management information system based on the medical treatment network is a great improvement upon the existing hospital management mode. The hospital information system will exert an irreplaceable action and it will be the important guarantee for an effective application and propagation of hospital businesses.The service-oriented framework theory and development status quo of digital hospitals were firstly researched in this paper, and in combination with the digital hospital construction project of Changsha Maternal & Child Healthcare Hospital, the application status quo and existing problems of hospital informatization system were analyzed by relying on"service-oriented"purpose, and the systematic design and sufficient demonstration were carried out to the"digital hospital"from various links such as system structure, hierarchic structure, software framework, safety system, etc., and the scheme of hospital informatization construction was proposed.Based on the deep analysis of the development and application status quo of domestic and international hospital information systems, stress was laid to discuss the basic theory, feature and basic elements of the information system. In view of existing businesses and characteristics of hospital information system, business process, business need, information composition and function need of hospital information system were analyzed and existing problems and difficulties facing the digital hospitals were analyzed. In view of the existing problems, the opinion of carrying out the standardized construction was proposed with regard to medical information transmission and information exchange of hospital information system. The overall design, safety system design and function design and realization of hospital information system were carried out in the paper. Finally, the project implementation process and the sub-systems such as outpatient"hospital versatile card"system were analyzed in details and the prospect of deeply perfecting and developing the digital hospitals was expected.This system applying the C/S/S system to the inquiry, with SQL Server 2000 served as its database. Full consideration was given to the data sharing and the networking demand of LIMAS with other information systems during the design of database. This system adopts the minimum element structure for its data memory and it can provide the output of multiple formats according to the needs, ensuring the sharing function of data; it supports the TCP/IP communication protocol transmission way, which lays a sound foundation for the cross-platform sharing of business data in the system; it can provide multiple encrypting ways according to the requirements, which ensures the online safety of the information system; it has overall checkout module, powerful online function, convenient data input way, standardized item setting, complete and authoritative database for item parameters, novel dynamic management auxiliary function.
