Metro transmission network is the basic telecommunications network, which also is the highway that carry voice, IP, data and multimedia service. With the coming of the 3G era, the prelude of Full-service competition is opened, and mobile metro transmission network is facing all-round challenges. Among them, the problems of the mobile IP, broadband and 2G/3G/LTE uniform transmission, group customer service delivery, the scale of the construction of broadband service are most obvious. Traditional SDH and MSTP equipments are difficult to meet the requirement of the new situation. In order to reduce network maintenance cost and improve the quality of network and income, meanwhile to meet the high bandwidth requirement of 3G, transmission network is crying out for transformation toward IP. It promotes the technical development, and PTN technology generated in this case. PTN provides the valid technique solution means for the 3G base station backhaul transmission and network IP transformation.The programming of local metro transmission network of GMCC, should according to the basic principles, "Overall planning, Steping construction". And basing on the current I situation of the network, should allocate the resource well, and make various business needs meet during the planning. This article first according to adapt to the future of Internet evolution meet the needs of business during the planning period, adapt to the future of Internet evolution. This paper first points out the problems of network through analyze the back ground and current situation of network. Then, a variety of communication technologies on the current depth analysis and comparison with the overall transport network planning objectives and principles, the final choice in Chaozhou Branch of GMCC into PTN, the deployment of new IP-oriented transport network. On this basis, through the core network,2G base stations,3G base stations, data networks and other business needs for statistical analysis of network problems in-depth analysis, combined with the layout of the future local economic development. Chaozhou Branch of GMCC metro transport network to form the planning and construction program: construction of a PTN backbone layer of the backbone ring, an OTN backbone of the ring, the convergence layer construction of six PTN gathering ring, an OTN ring together and transform an OTN ring together, while part of the network access layer to optimize the transformation. Finally, the future direction of MAN were analyzed, and China Mobile continue to focus on the future application needs PTN major aspects of the 5.Metro transport network in this design implementation planning process, to my knowledge with courses, tracking the current evolution of metro transport network technology development direction, based on network status and business needs, develop a relatively complete plan design, guide the new year the construction of the metro transport network.
