Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of the shipping industry, waterway maintenance requirements are also increasing, which brings new challenge to the operation and maintenance of modern waterway engineering ship. Safety operation of engineering ship is the lifeblood of the survival and development of enterprises, it is of great significance to put persistent efforts into the research on the security system of engineering ship, actively explore new ways of CBM of engineering ship and seek hard to a new method for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of engineering ship. In this paper, the mature power machinery monitoring methods in common use were synthesized; the power mechanical system of engineering ship was analyzed by theory of system engineering; and the monitoring system was designed by use of the design idea of modular and serialization.Several common monitoring methods for engine system and hydraulic system of current marine power mechanical system were introduced, and the advantage, disadvantage and applicable conditions of performance parameters monitoring method, instantaneous speed monitoring method, vibration monitoring method and oil monitoring method were analyzed. The way to optimize monitoring methods on the premise of economy was brought forward which could monitor the operation condition of marine power mechanical system in real time effectively and improve the accuracy of fault diagnosis system's stability and reliability.Modular design idea was used for the modularization design of the hardware, software and interfaces of the monitoring system for marine power machinery, which could improve the efficiency of the monitoring system's design, installation, maintenance, management, and make the monitoring system has good economical efficiency and versatility. Then several series monitoring module and monitoring system were brought for users to choose through the series design for modular monitoring methods and monitoring system. All of this can improve the flexibility and applicability of monitoring system, and will be beneficial to promote the development and popularity of the new generation of monitoring system for engine room. The theory of system engineering was adopted to analyses the environment, objectives and structure of engineering ship's power machinery system, then a monitoring system model was established and optimized, decision for the monitoring system program through system evaluation can be make. Finally, a decision for the monitoring system's combination program of a dredger's power machinery system was made through the use of AHP, which verified this way can improve the rationality of monitoring system's design, and can meet the requirements of system designers, system users and system administrators in the same time as much as possible.Finally, the software of On-Board Monitoring System was developed by C # based on Visual Studio.NET 2008, using SQL Server 2005 for database system, using serial for the local data communication and using 3G for the shore data communication, which constitutes a complete monitoring system for power machinery of buoy tour and inspection ship. Because of using modular and serialization design methods, when need to design other monitoring system of marine power machinery, some modules can provide reference, to improve the efficiency and cost of monitoring systems.
