To improve the degree of vessel information, global positioning systems, ARPA radar, automatic identification system, electronic chart display and information systems, integrated cabin and other information technology products are widely used in shipbuilding industry. Relatively independent of these products lacks unification and integration, thus affecting the safety of navigation and management efficiency. Hence, it is necessary to establish the ship integrated digital information system. The core of the system is automated vessel monitoring system, which is mainly used to display the host vessels, power plants and other information on the working conditions, temperature, pressure and other analog signals, as well as the host for speeding, parking and other emergency switch traffic signals to improve the comprehensive automation of the ship has an important effect. Main contents of this thesis and innovation points are as follows1. The innovation points of this thesis:traditional ship data transmission networks have the problem of low efficiency, the control network using EPA data transmission network to replace the original ship of fieldbus and industrial Ethernet for the first time, intuitive and easy to use automatic configuration software to replace the original VC and VB programming software. EPA has a single physical layer technology, deterministic communication, high reliability, etc., to achieve control of the network from top to bottom "E" network finally, the network can improve the efficiency and stability of the ship.2. In this thesis EPA-100 family of devices are used in the automated vessel monitoring system. Automatic monitoring system for structural design of the hardware, configuration of alarm monitoring and automation interface software design are all included in the system design.Hardware design, including the requirement for monitoring, alarm monitoring points, EPA-100 Series modules are utilized to complete the hardware architecture of the system causes and principles of design in accordance with EPA communications hardware automation control system overall architecture, CON212 controller and the I/O modules hardware design, and what the scene signals were collected. This article is also EPA-100 Series equipment design reliability and environmental adaptability.Software design, described the need to achieve automatic control system functions, EPA-100 control system software, followed by agreement, communication configuration and the software process and structure and be able to interface through the design of the alarm monitoring show host ship, ship power plant, compass heading, wind direction, wind speed, navigation information, which can be integrated in this man-machine interface, visual observation of the operation of various parts of the ship.3. In order to test whether this design of EPA-100 automatic monitoring system being able to adapt to special circumstances the ship needs in accordance with the provisions of classification societies, making EPA-100 series of equipment type approval testing. In this thesis, according to China Classification Society of the ship-related electronic equipment requirements, we completed the EPA-100 test equipment and systems platform to build the outline, and completed type approval testing of the ship as well. Experimental results show that the designed EPA-100 system can work in strong electromagnetic interference and harsh work environments.
