Research And Design Of The Signal Gateway For Wireless Integrated Access System Scdma Networks

SCDMA is a local wireless access network technology owned by Datang Telecom with the independent intellectual property rights. China Netcom has established SCDMA networks in more than 10 provinces in china. By now SCDMA patent has not yet completely opened, so no other agencies are involved for the design and development of SCDMA system except Datang Telecom. By the end of 2007, there were more than 12 million users who were using SCDMA networks.In order to maintain existing subscribers and attract more new users to join, China Netcom requests more and more plentiful business with flexible deployment providing by SCDMA. China Netcom Group facilitates various business users for flexible deployment and flexible adjustment based on user-scale structure, and it is necessary to improve the existing circuit-switched form core network to the open NGN as the core with IP exchange. Signaling Gateway who is the exchange node controlling signaling information between soft-switched networks and circuit-switched network is an important functional entity of the entire NGN, and Responsible for signaling infomation to relay, translation or end treatment. To achieve the evolution from SCDMA core network to NGN, it is necessary to re-design the existing No.7 signaling unit owned by Datang Telecom, which is the purpose of this paper.This paper firstly describes the existing SCDMA networks owned by Datang Telecom and the structure of No.7 system, and determines the Signaling Gateway design requirements on the basis of analysis of NGN and signaling gateway technology followed by a overall design which puts particular emphasis on the transformation for No.7 signaling module and the design of SIGTRAN Protocol Stack. Furthermore this paper represents a detailed SIGTRAN Protocol Stack esign which is Borne by the author, and eventually gives part of the business process flow in the realization to formulate a system testing method.SG, MG, and MGC are the new signaling gateways. They jointly formed a new Soft Switch core network which is provides not noly a flexible deployment platform for business, but also VOIP and all kinds of integrated access solutions for users. Futuremore Datang signaling gateway can also be used as an independent product to operators.
