The Study & Implementation Of M3UA_Based Signaling Gateway In NGN

This thesis mainly describes the study and implementation of M3UA_based Signaling Gateway in NGN.The thesis includes four parts. The first part is on NGN based on Softswitch technology. First, gives the concept of NGN, describes the character of NGN. Then, talks about some important network elements and some important protocols in NGN.The second part introduces Signaling Gateway (SG). First, introduces NO.7 Signaling System. Then, describes network architecture of SG based on M3UA, M2UA and M2PA, introduce SIGTRAN protocols, especially describes the character of SCTP.Chapter 3 describes M3UA in details. the purpose of this chapter is to give a good preparation for the next chapter. In this part, some important characters and procedures about M3UA is explained.The last part is the central part in the whole thesis. In this chapter, First, gives the system design of M3UA_based Signaling Gateway. Then, describes in details the study and implementation of M3UA, At last, analyses the redundancy mechanism in SG systems.
