The Design And Implementation Of Test Paper Analysis System In Paperless Exams

Paper analysis is one of the most important parts of the education quality estimating system in universities. The works of paper analysis were completed artificially with many shortcomings such as long statistical period, fussy operations and so on, and there are some limitations such as commonality and expansibility in the current paper analysis systems.Paper analysis system was used in analyzing the test paper scientifically by employing the theories of according to education measurement, educational statistics principle and soft wares. Firstly, we introduced the researching meanings and developing status and described the corresponding techniques and basic theories. Secondly, we have implemented the detail requirement analysis and we have completed global design and functional sub- modules design. VB language and VBA techniques were used in implementing the paper analysis system. Through the test score entering module and test score analyzing module, we can manage the test scores and gave the statistical information. We have implemented the output of complex report forms and the analysis results could be presented with tables and graphs to users. We have tested the systems on lots of real data, and the results showed that it was easy to estimate the qualities of test paper, the learning effects of students and the teaching impacts of the instructors.The system was used in real works, the practice results showed that the feasibilities and effectiveness have achieved the design requirements.
