The third generation mobile communication is the present hot topic of discussion. It can provide faster data transfer, the higher voice quality and the digital data service quality, themore convenient and effective service application, the higher usage efficiency of wireless frequency resources and the more different communicational way.The radio resource management algorithm takes the system space connector load as a base, according to the certain strategy to control user, the service a series of algorithms which take to the radio resource, mainly includes the power control algorithm, the plot cut algorithm, enters the control algorithm, algorithm and congestion control. CDMA is from the system of self-jam, in order to make sure the system is normal and highly effective we must guarantee the system have full and effective control and the dispatch radio resource, guaranteed the user, service QoS, reasonably adjusts the resources to take, enables the system to achieve the high capacity and the frequency spectrum efficiency.The developing process of WCDMA system is introduced in this paper, and the principle, the structure, the key technologies of WCDMA are all described here.In this paper, the various algorithms principle and the parameter application are deeply studied. With the concrete data of experiment net, the realization of Ericsson various algorithms has been introduced.The radio resource management and control is the core of designing and planning of the WCDMA mobile communication system. Whether the radio resource management algorithm is good or not directly influences quality of system performance.Radio resource management algorithm has been test on the WCDMA experiment net, the results shows that various radio resource management algorithms is a necessary condition for formal opening and operation of WCDMA commercial usage, and can guarantee the QoS, the capacity of the system etc.
