Along with the trend of creating a learning society in China, it is becoming more and more important for enterprises to enhance the cultivation of learning enmplyees. Meanwhile, the growing popularity of computer technology and the develping of network technology are accelerating the process of management informatization in industries. They also create opportunities for enterprises to seeking new learning patterns and supporting platforms. Qilu Securities Co., Ltd. (referred to Qilu Securities in the following) is a large-scale comprehensive securities company. It is approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). Its establishment fund comes from the Laiwu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Yanzhou Mining Group Co., Ltd., and Jinan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.. Based on the actual requirements of our company, Qilu Securities Co., Ltd., this theis accomplishes the analysis, design and implementation of theE-learning platform.As a large securities company, Qilu Securities has a high standard for each employee's business skills and knowledge level. The company currently employs 5,000 people, and has more than 130 branches in Shandong Provinec, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Dalian, Changchun and other cities. Because of the large number of employees, widely distributed branches, the training of employees within the company has been one of the problems plagued the development of the company. Therefore, it becomes a priority task for the company to develop the E-learning platform, and use the platform to effectively organize the training and learning for the company staff who can serve the company better in the future.Based on software engineering, we accomplish the comprehensive analysis, design, and implementation for the eight subsystems of the E-learning platform. Technicaly, we use RUP (Unified Process) as the software development methods, UML (Unified Modeling Language) as the system analysis and design description language, and J2EE as the technical platform architecture. Currently, the system implements a series of functional modules, including company training organization and management, employee information management, training project management, E-Learning training management, online learning and assessment management, aid instruments management, report management, etc.. The internal use and testing of the platform show that it satisfies the business requirements, achieves the expected goals. Using the platform, the company achieves the shift to network-based training, improves the efficiency of training and management, and plays an important role in the sustainable development of the company and the upgrading of the human resources training.
