With the continuous development of science and technology, information plays an increasingly prominent role in manufacturing industy. Chinese manufacturing enterprises promote the computer software application to enhance productivity, and start to use computer-aided software such as CAD and PDM.Different CAD systems have different purposes, different development language as well as different graphics system and the modeling idears, which result in different three-dimensional CAD can not be integrated effectively and the design and manufacture model can not be exchanged effectively. In product design and manufacturing process, in order to manage this process a large number of design and manufacturing information was generated, and then product data management (PDM) system provides us with a management platform. Therefore, research three-dimensional CAD integration based on PDM platform has an important significance to improve the development of manufacturing industry.In thesis, three-dimensional CAD model technology were researched and introduced data integrated method of actualizing the information integrating of three-dimensional CAD, adopted indirect documents exchange mode to come ture CAD information integrated, namely adopt neutral documents exchange means of achieving an end, base on enterprise requirement, explored one base on SOA enterprise mutual products information integrated frame, and three-dimensional CAD Information Integration mode based on PDM in corporation was brought forward.In thesis, commonly used data exchange standards like VRML, IGES, STEP and Parasolid were researched, studied IGES and STEP standards, analyzed IGES file structure, EXPRESS modeling language of STEP standards, STEP AP203 document structure, STEP AP203,STEP AP214 and STEP AP224,and their conformance test; and analyzed information expression of product three-dimensional information in the data exchange process, and studied boundary expressions in detaile.This thesis selected three commonly used data exchange standards IGES, Parasolid and STEP, by their corresponding generated neutral files to exchange data in Pro/e, UG, Solid Edge and SolidWorks, comparedand and tested these neutral documents from the data size and information loss aspects. Though the test, chose STEP criteria of AP203 generated neutral files as intermediate format for the different three-dimensional CAD information exchange,and then studied problems of generated STEP neutral files in the three-dimensional CAD software design process, provided a reference for enhance the design quality and the efficiency of collaborative design.Thesis studied the concept and implementation technology of product structure management and document management in PDM, developed a Web-Based PDM System, and achieved parts function of the PDM through the PDM system information can be transmited effectively during the whole design and manufacturing process, and achieved different three-dimensional CAD in various design stages, product model data can be shared and achieved the integration of different three-dimensional CAD.
