Design Techniques Based On Virtual Prototype Aircraft Maintenance

The maintainability of airplane should be considered well at the early stage of design to reduce the life cycle cost of the civil airplane system. Firstly, by analyzing the matter of traditional maintainability design and reviewing domestic and international related researches, this paper puts forward the concept of "the virtual analysis of maintainability", defines the basic way of thinking and research contents of computer-aided maintainability design and analysis. According to the basic requirements of maintainability , the rules of maintainability design of civil airplane is confirmed, the general qualitative requirements is described quantificational. Secondly, this paper establishes all levels of maintenance time model and maintenance man-hour model combining current maintainability model researches. Then the total structure model of maintainability analysis based on virtual reality is built by analyzing the system function and characteristics. In order to further define and simplify the process of virtual maintenance, aiming at the main component of maintenance, disassembly and assembly, the author does some researches such as assembly modeling, the process of disassembly and assembly, and the method of ordering disassembly or assembly, and establishes the evaluation system of disassembly and assembly for maintainability. To facilitate managing 3D digital models of maintenance objects, a part library management system is established. Finally, on the basis of researches on realizing virtual maintenance environment, the author sets up the virtual maintaining environment, analyzes the reachability, the visibility, the interference and posture-comfortability. As a design tool, the method has been verified primarily for its feasibility to make virtual maintainability design or analysis.In this paper, through analyzing the objective of maintainability design simulation and evaluation system, we accomplished the design of system scheme, including system framework design, system function design, system realization research and key technique analysis.Through this research, it comes to the method system of maintainability design and analysis based on the virtual reality, which makes up the shortage of the maintainability design andValidation delaying to product design. And it lays a good foundation for the establishment of the vitual maintainability design and analysis system as well as other researches.
