In this dissertation, the design method of Embedded System using SOPC technology is researched, and a microwave interference speed-mesuring system is As the development of semiconductor and micro-electronics in recent years, there is a revolution in the field of embeded system. Many kinds of high-performanced on-chip system and real-time operation system have been upgraded. In now time, the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is getting deep into the field of complex logic circuits and digital signal processing, and using it in Embedded System design is the new trend. Circuits of the microwave interference speed-mesuring system and drivers of the communication interface have been designed, using the technology of FPGA and SOPC, advanced by Altera Corporation in 2000. Based on Cyclone III FPGA Series, with Nios II processor in it, and FFT arithmetic, the system is expected to calculate the Doppler frequency of the signal generated by the comparatively movement of the object and microwave sent by radar, then the muzzle velocity of the pill can be estimated precisely. CAN, UART interfaces and other function circuits have been added to the system to achieve the hardware flat; the uC/OS-II RTOS (Real-Time Operation System) is migrated into the software system as the software flat for the drivers design.
