Abstract/Summary:
Spectrum analysis device is important equipment in signal analysis field,we can use it to analyze spectrum structure of signal.Up to now,it has been widely used in many area,such as communication,sonar system,mechanical fault detection, electronic counte- rmeasure and so on.This paper research and design the FFT specturm analysis device from the aspect of hardware system and algorithm.The hardware system adopt the structure of conjunction of DSP and FPGA .It consists of analog to digital conversion,logic control and digital signal process.The algorithm mainly include analysis and research of FFT.At first,we introduce the digital signal process system,describe the characters of TMS320C6414 and analyze the power ,memory,clock and interface to FPGA model.Then,we introduce the AD data conversion and logic control.The AD data conversion model is in charge of the sampling and quantification of analog signal.The major work include the design of power,clock,and interface to FPGA.The logic model mainly deal with buffering data,the major work include the design of FIFO and EMIF,the way of setting AD register,simulation of RTL. Following, we discuss the FFT algorithm.Through the in-depth analysis,we find three defects of the algorithm.It's the picket fence effect,the frequency leak and the lack of time information.We give the corresponding way to solve the relevant problem,and prove its effectiveness through the verification of experiment .
