Fuze is the eye and brain of ammunition. The anticipative function of a new conceptweapon needs a certain kind of suited fuze technology for it. Based on the carbon fiberbomb as application background, the height measuring system of carbon fiber bomb fuzebased on data transmission is researched.The height measuring system of fuze works in the way of wireless datacommunication, based on the fuze technology of radio instruction, in order to carry outthe control of detonation in the optimal height. By the analysis of the carbon fiber bombfunctionary environment and process, two sorts of height measuring methods areraised.They are the method of TDOA (Time Difference Of Arrival) location based ontime synchronization and the method of height measurement based on the active radioheight measuring fuze. And the height measuring system is researched by the method ofTDOA location based on time synchronization.Using the mathematics method, the method of distributed multi-station TDOAlocation is improved on, and the algorithmic model of the height measuring system offuze is set up. In feasibility analysis, the time synchronization technology is studied. Themethod and thought of design of time synchronization system based on GPS commontechnology are brought in. All of these establish the base of height measuring fuzetechnology. During the design process of principle prototype, according to the techniqueguide line of carbon fibre bomb, starting off the whole blue print of the height measuringsystem of fuze, the software and hardware module (except the time synchronizationsystem) design of principle prototype is completed. The performance of the system canachieve carbon fiber bomb guide line by the principle prototype test's results.
