Travertine Applied Research In The Building Curtain Wall

The travertine gradually receives people's favour in the building curtain wall and decoration, its quality of material is loose and the intensity is also actually bad. The people research into this specific stone and its structural hanging system to be less, we carry on the anti- curved structural testing, the compressive strength test and the single axle compressive experiment through some testing methods of the model of rock mechanics to the travertine, we obtain its curve of stresses. Based on the experimental characteristic, we bring up the binding technology of pore-fiber-cloth for the first time and test anti- curved strength to enhance more than 2 times. The main problems are discussed of its structural hanging system to the travertine. We carry on the physical strength test deferred to differently structural hanging system and obtained the situation and the whole effect. And carry on the connection experiment of travertine for the first time to the new slotting in the back of travertine and locking in the back of travertine, we bring up the glueing technology in the hole of undercutanchors. The experiment proved that, the structural hanging system of undercut anchors glueing in the hole and the syetem of the slotting in the back and locking in the back of travertine have the more outstanding mechanics performance. We recommend it to apply to the building curtain wall project.
