| Container port transportation system is one complicated huge system, which involves container hinterland, collect & dredge transportation, container port, shipping line, container vessel, etc.. This paper is based on the container port to analyze the factor influencing container port transportation system. It adopts the facing target simulation modeling method of discrete system, relies on simulation software of EXTEND, and has set up a model that include the container producing module, module of shipping line resources in port, route-select module, the statistic module in container transportation system, etc.. It has appeared naturally that the forming process of the container distribution on every possible route. This model is set up according to the principle to maintenance owner's benefit. It has met the owner's transportation time requirement, and has considered freight of the container and transportation time cost synthetically. Finally choose the most rational route tor owner's container transportation.This paper relies on the container transportation of south JiangSu Province. It set up simulation model, and changes the parameters of the simulation system to alter some factors. By simulation the distributions of containers on every possible route are presented under different parameter settings such as varies of shipping line setting, kinds of port expense charge levels, freight charges and freights of highway, etc.. Then, according to the simulation result, impact on container port transportation system of different port factors and influence degree of each factor to the container transportation system are both investigated.Meanwhile, this paper uses the simulation model to carry on a series of policy tests: such as adjusting port ship line density, enlarging the construction of the branch-shipping-line development, regulating port charge, regulating shipping charge etc..
