The proposal of China's "Belt and Road" initiative has brought unprecedented opportunities for China-EU container transportation. The development of CR Express and emerging ports have greatly promoted trade exchanges between China and Europe.More and more logistics and transportation companies And multimodal transport operators began to pay attention to the logistics restructuring between China and Europe.Under this background, the research on the optimization of container multimodal transportation route is of great significance to improve the quality of transportation services, ensure the healthy development of multiple transportation modes, and improve the timeliness of transportation. From the perspective of multimodal transport operators, this article discusses the optimization of the route of multi-cargo flow between China and Europe within a planning period. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)The article introduces the current situation and existing problems of China-EU container transportation logistics channels in detail, and then explains the characteristics and advantages of multimodal transport, and analyzes several major factors that affect the optimization of transportation routes.(2)This article builds a China-EU container multimodal transportation network, and then subdivides the transportation method into different transportation services according to the different shifts of the same transportation mode. From the perspective of the multimodal transport operator, design the transportation route optimization plan and the optimal delivery time of each batch of goods during the planning period for the transportation of multiple batches of goods. The time window of transit node service due to shift restrictions and the timeliness requirements of the cargo owner for freight are added to the model, and a multi-objective optimization model with the goal of minimizing the total transportation cost, time and carbon emissions of multiple shipments within a planning period is constructed,And then use NSGA-? algorithm to solve.(3)Select export demand from domestic cities Nanjing to Frankfurt and Vienna as examples to analyze, and compare the multiple freight flow transportation scheme before and after the logistics network changes under the "Belt and Road" initiative. The results of the solution to the initial transportation network show that the transportation schemes for multiple batches of goods are mostly based on CR Express, which shows that the development of CR Express has broken the traditional international multimodal transport mode which basing on liner transportation. The competitiveness of railway transportation cannot be ignored.Secondly, the Piraeus port was added to the new network, and the three target values of new transportation network were relatively stable and changed, and some batches of the obtained transportation scheme were diverted to the international waterway, this shows that the development of Piraeus has brought new vitality to water transport.Choosing Piraeus Port as a transit hub for water transport between China and Europe can better balance transportation time, cost and carbon emissions and Achieve better comprehensive benefits. Finally, the model is verified to be feasible and effective, and can provide multimodal transport operators with optimized solutions for China-EU container transportation under different logistics networks.
