With the progress of information science and electronic technology, the airborne dipping sonar is becoming more digital and intellectual. The signal processing system is the most important part in the whole system. To advance the ability of signal processing system of A sonar, we exploit a new signal processing system with the new DSP of TI, and its main contents are summarized as follow:1.The work mode of active and passive sonar, the correlative theory of beamforming, detecting and others.2.To meet the need of new system, we discussed the feasibility and necessity of the new signal processing system.We advanced the blue print of the new signal processing system.3. With the characteristic of new DSP, we proposed the design pattern of hardware and software. After the realization of the new signal processing system, we debugged the system and the result validated our design pattern useful.
