Along with the rapid development of the technical of computer aided design, the CAD becomes the most powerful tool in mechanical design and manufacturing with its main features of parameter, intelligence and three dimensions. The paper intends to build up the reducer three-dimensional parametric CAD expert system based on the existing theory of reducer design, by using the intelligentized CAD, combining the theory of expert system. three-dimensional CAD, integrating the expert system through the application of the Visual Basic 6.0 and the Solid Edge, the main software of general three-dimensional CAD. The system are in line with the development of the modern technology and the completion of the design of this system is going to improve the operation efficiency of the reducer, and to improve the design quality. The following are the main works based on above.1. Following the design process of the reducer, the expert system model has been built on the basis of the relevant theory, while dividing the system into two: design calculation expert system and structure design expert system and an in-depth research has been carried out in this paper.2. To build up the reducer expert system with real-timing, visualization and graphic through Visual Basic 6.0. In order to improve the reliability and inter-activation of the design, an in-depth reseach on pre-processing of different principles and the application of data base has been carried out, the data base and the relevant processor designed for the reducer expert system has been established.3. The secondary research has been carried out through the Visaual Basic 6.0. by combining the design variables and design technology to accomplish the parametric design for the three-dimensional model. The paper also gives an analysis on the constraining relationship for the structural measurements between the general assemble and the individual parts. The model of individual parts and the general assemble has been established through the design from the Top-down and the Bottom-top. |
