| Vehicle information system is an important part of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). It includes control center, wireless networks and vehicle information system terminal.Vehicle information system terminal based on GPS concerns GPS positioning technology, computer science, GSM/GPRS wireless networks technology and electronic technology. After GPS reception and accurate position calculations, it exchange instructions and position information with control center to track and monitor vehicles.The main contents of the thesis are following as:First, background and related theories of the thesis, as well as the architecture and functions of vehicle information system are mentioned.Second, the hardware design and program flow of mainframe based on ARM processor and embedded operate system uC/OS-â…¡ are introduced, especially the design of GPS receiver board and GSM/GPRS circuit module.Then, the hardware design and program flow of Chinese characters display terminal are given.At last, the design method and application of accelerometer are studied. By the research and experiments, the feasibility of using accelerometer to detect vehicle tilt, roll-over and collision is proved. |
