In order to meet the need of semi-trailers producer, analysis of Finite Element Method was used with the ANSYS software. The calculation of semi-trailers' intention and stiffness simulates several working conditions. The result of the simulation will guide the improve research on semi-trailer of the factory.The main job of the study involves:The status quo of semi-trailers study, and the structure characters of semi-trailer.The body structure analysis method of semi-trailer, and the finite element method usage in semi-trailer analysis.The main working conditions of semi-trailers in actual, and accordingly the application method of corresponding load and boundary conditions are also discussed in detail. The intention and stiffness of different working conditions of main longitudinal beam are simulated.In order to reduce intention and stiffness,The improvement on body structure was studied . some schemes were imagined and calculated.
