Tank semi-trailer is a special vehicle which is used to carry oil. With the increasing demand of industry for oil in transportation,aviation,etc,the tank semi-trailer plays an important role as an carrier in oil transportation, and the demand for large-scale tank semi-trailer is increasing. Along with internationalization of market competition,the design and manufacturing production with high level,low price,light quality will become a trend. However,there is unreasonable design in local structure of oil tank semi-trailer in actual use. Therfore,it is necessary to analyze structure strength,stiffness and design light weight style.First of all,a dynamic model was established by analyzing and simplifying structure of semi-trailer.Then ,the stress of whole structure and cloud figure of deformation as well as various order frequency modal were obtained by analyzing structure strength,stiffness and free modal of the semi-trailer under various environment. Secondly,structural topology optimization and size optimization design method was applied to optimized the structure of tank semi-trailer which is improved and perfected based on the optimization results. Finally,some important analysis data was obtained by analyzing structure strength,stiffiness and free vibration modal. These data provide theory basis for the design and manufacture of other style tank semi-trailer.
