In this paper, the history, the current situation and the development trend of the cement concrete mixing truck are researched both inside and outside our country, and the classification, the transportation type, the technology requirement, the structure and the form principle of concrete mixing truck are comprehensively discussed. Through the theoretic analysis, design and calculation, the design methods of drive scheme and hydraulic system's main parameters of the 8m concrete mixing truck are established, and the type of hydraulic component is selected and checked. Based on the collected data, through the theoretic calculation, an experience formula between the volume with the drive torque of mixing drum is drawn. The key problem, constant speed control of mixing drum, in the design of control system of concrete mixing truck are discussed in this paper. The constant speed control of mixing drum under the condition at present is realized; Through the discussion to the impulsion of hydraulic system, the damage and reason of the hydraulic impulsion to hydraulic system is analyzed, and several kinds of prevention and control measure are put forward purposively. Based on the simulation software AMESIM produced by the company IMAGINE, the hydraulic system of 8m~3 concrete mixing truck is simulated. The simulation result indicates that the status of the cement concrete mixing truck is windless in the feed-in process, but the impulsion of hydraulic system is big when the work mode is changed. The simulation result indicates simultaneity that the reversing time of the direction valve has heavy influence on the stability and the carrying capacity of hydraulic system. When the reversing time is 3.06s, the hydraulic system can obtain better transient performance and smaller overshoot amount, which means smaller hydraulic impulsion and torque impulsion. Through arranging and analyzing the test data of the prototype, the design of hydraulic system of the prototype is reasonable, which can meet the demands of various kinds of operation modes, and the test result is almost consistent with the simulation result.
