This paper researches on high frequency parallel resonance inverter using IGBT for induction heating power supply. It introduces the development of induction heating, analyses the theory of introduction heating. Comparing of the normal topologies of inverter, the parallel inverter is selected.For IGBT being used as switch in inverter, this paper introduces the configuration, characteristic and processes of switch on and off of IGBT, and decides the driver circuit.According to different control states of inverter, aiming at capacity enhancing, this paper proposes a new technique of alternate control. It expatiates on the process of the new control technique, analyzes its characteristic. Relating to practice, the control circuit of inverter is designed.This paper also analyzes the processes of main circuit on high frequency, gives some models of different components. And it also expresses the influence of the distributing inductance, proposes several methods to reduce the influence. According to theory and experiment, the salvation of capacity enhancing on component level is decided.Archives the design and debug of a sample power supply, comparing the loss of IGBT with heat measuring, this paper confirms the theory with the experiment results. Alternate control can reduce about 10% to 30% of loss at different frequency and power.
