Research On The Design And Aesthetics Of The Virtual Industry

As one of hot spots in the artistic fields, virtual industrial design is a product design method, which takes the modern information technology as the foundation and integrates virtual reality technology and the modern advanced manufacture technology. The method based on virtual industrial design technology takes digitized 3D model as the carrier of the design method, and comprehensively expresses designer's intention. It is an important breakthrough of the person-machine connection technology.At present, the application external condition of virtual industrial design is already mature, but the domestic research of this aspect is quite few, the author wishes this article give everybody some enlightenments and inspiration. Embarking from the novel and practical angle, according to the specialized student's knowledge structure and the thought characteristic of industrial design. This article has made the elaboration to the virtual reality basic concept and the technical question which possibly be met in the application, with the emphasis on how to apply the virtual reality technology to the industrial design practice. The article mainly includes as follows.(1) Elaborates the history and the development tendency about industrial design and virtual reality technology; connotation and extension of virtual industrial design system; industrial design esthetics characteristic as well as its comparison with traditional esthetics.(2) Introduces virtual industrial design system methodology embarking from practice, and makes the concrete description with practice.(3) VRML is not the fountain of all the most advanced virtual reality technical nowadays as the classical programming language. In view of this, this article has analyzed the VRML technology, simultaneously has also given dual attention to now the advanced virtual industrial design technology and its the structure platform (software), and has made the detailed introduction in the practical application aspect.(4) With the virtual industrial design technology obtains development, the virtual industrial design esthetics research also must follow up along with it. Although virtual industrial design esthetics may be found the form from traditional art anddesign work esthetics theory, it is insufficiently to annotate this new domain of thevision esthetic with the traditional esthetics theory comprehensively. This articlewill carry on the preliminary exploration and research to its esthetic characteristics.This article mainly makes a summary of author's design practice and what learnsfrom study, and certainly also roots in the collection and analysis to the newest scienceand technology literature of the domestic and foreign correlations technology. The paperpays attention to the combination of the theory and practice. It uses the massive chartsof symbols to assort with the concrete research or the design example, which mayprovide the new design thoughtfulness and the new creation method for the industrialdesign.
