The contemporary western architecture aesthetic is a special era. It has been influenced by all kinds of currents of aesthetics so that it is so colorful, and it also express the aesthetics by it own way. The contemporary western architectural aesthetic is such a domain which is associated with aesthetic so tightly that it has more internal, radiative and conceptive power to influence the other currents of thought than that of other eras. All the above attract me to come into this special domain.This paper has explored the framework of the modern western aesthetics and the contemporary western architectural aesthetic, and then it has discussed the modern western aesthetics'influences on the contemporary architecture taking the framework of the modern western aesthetics as the main clue.Chapter1,the background of the contemporary western architectural aesthetic. This chapter has introduced the social background and the aesthetical background of the contemporary western architectural aesthetic. Especially, this chapter has explored the framework of the modern western aesthetics and the framework of the contemporary western architectural aesthetics.Chapter 2,the modern western aesthetics'influences on the contemporary western architectural aesthetic.
