Intelligent Vehicle Information Systems Research

To study Vehicle Information System plays an important role in solving city transportation problems. This paper is aimed at Vehicle Information System. The functions of this system focus on GPS automation positioning, information exchange between vehicle and control center by GPRS, collection of vehicle state and etc.Many aspects are concerned in Vehicle Information System. This paper only studies positioning, communication and data collection of Vehicle Information System. The main tasks are as follows: In positioning aspect, the embedded vehicle positioning system is designed by using signal chip and multiple GPS receiver; In communication aspect, wireless dada communication system is designed by using industrial GPRS model and the comparison of GPRS, GSM, collection group system and single channel broadcaster is also given; This paper also designed a vehicle state collection device based on digital signal processor; Every model mentioned above can communicate each other or with PC through UART to realize positioning, navigation, wireless communication and state detection etc. This paper describes the structures and functions of the vehicle device component and discusses the realization of concrete hardware and software in detail. At last this paper processes the experiment results and gives the conclusion and prospects.
