As national economy runs well, the quantity of domestic infrastructure construction in our country also increase continuously. With these advanced characteristics, such as the high tower, the long boom and the broad scope of workspace, Tower Crane is extremely widespread applied in the infrastructure construction. However, due to some inducements as well as its own defects and poor working environment, etc., the Tower Crane accidents happen frequently. So it is urgent to find a effective solution for the Tower Crane security problem. This Subject is based on national"Eleventh Five-Year"plan of scientific and technological support, named"Group tower centralism network managerial technology and devices research", one subject of"Architectural engineering equipment research and industrialization development". We research that how to prevent collisions, to get the real-time monitoring data and the data handling system of the working towers for the subject in this paper.Based on the national safety regulation standards of Tower Crane, this paper establishes the mathematical modeling of the towers first, and analyzes several kinds of collision's situation on the construction site; Afterward, this paper carries on a analysis about some key parameters, which have a great impact on the operation of Tower Crane, such as the turning angle information, the environment information, the weight information, and the Tower Crane foundation information ect.. Also this paper determines the major function and technical specification of the tower's safety monitoring. In order to confirm the style of data packets, which come from the working towers, this paper analyses and researches the communication procedure of the wireless communication system.According to the requirement for real-time character to defending colliding in the subject, this system adopts Visual C ++6.0 to doing the developing instrument, uses multi-thread programming and news transmission mechanism of methods; There are mass data saved in the database, so this paper choose SQL Server, and ADO technology, which is used to connect to the database. The system uses the module to be designed, mainly includes six pieces: the module of RS-232 red, the module of systematic login, the module of basic information management, the module of defending colliding and calculating, the module of users management, the module of the data in database backed up/resumed. Each module is separate, and has its own functions. It is integrant for them to be interrelated so as to finish the goal function together.Finally, this paper carries on a defending collide simulation experiment. The data packets red through RS-232C have a certain style. In order to examine the real-time character and accuracy of the system, it has to calculate the safe distance in the module of defending colliding and calculating. The comparison tests exits in different data packets, which is to check the reliability and practicability of the system. So, it is time to output the serial number of the tower through RS-232, which has the dangerous tendency, and realize the function of defending tower collision.
