| As the basic education curriculum reform has been conducted in depth, the teacher education, whose fundamental aim is to train qualified teachers for basic education, is confronted with the challenge brought about by the reform.With the Chemistry Pedagogy Experiment Course for teacher education as its access, this paper analyzes the role of this course, makes an investigation on its current situation and studies the basic idea of the basic education curriculum reform and its theoretical basis. Based on analysis, investigation and study, the author proposes the theoretical framework of "Application of the New Curriculum Philosophy to the Chemistry pedagogy Experiment Course for Teacher E ducation", and has carried out some research on teaching practice by means of action research.During the empirical study, under the guidance of the fundamental view on student, evaluation, teaching, and teacher of the curriculum reformation, the researcher constructs the whole teaching process of the experiment course, including teaching contents, teaching mode, teaching evaluation, and carries out the whole teaching practice. Based on the view of "Teaching Material are Paradigms", this study integrates and designs the teaching experiment dividing them into three stages: "learning motivation prompting stage", "basic ability nurturance and deepen stage", "application stage". Meanwhile this paper puts forward some detailed teaching strategies including to use "'let student try teaching' as a teaching skill training strategy", to use "'task research' as a research ability training strategy", and "boost update of educational idea through field discussion strategy". Besides, the paper makes some try to reform evaluation mode from three stages which are "evaluation contents diversification", "process evaluation", "balance of quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation".According to analysis on the rich data collected from the empirical study, the author concludes the acceptability of the application of new curriculum idea in the experiment course. Through the study of the course, the students make great improvement in experiment teaching competence, learning manner and research ability, and their understanding of the new curriculum idea.Finally, the researcher proposes further that innovate the way of evaluation in the new curriculum idea is the key to all reform. Another suggestion is that application of the curriculum idea should focus more on the details of teaching, and the curriculum system of normal university for chemistry major should be adjusted appropriately to meet the requirements of curriculum reform. |
