In this paper, not only the ideas of WCAPP system designing are brought forward, but also the system framework is presented. The system Database is established by using Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and corresponding model functions are built using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, such as product management, process planning and file management. The WCAPP system mentioned in this paper is built for the chemical container manufacture industries, and it is based on the flow of process planning and technology management, and the corresponding national standards. All work done in this paper, builds an automatic and informatization platform for the chemical container manufacture enterprises.In this paper, the flow of welding process solution is also discussed. An open model is designed, example is taken for explaining the assess method of welded joints. And the method of outputting process data based on template is recommended, which match the actual demands in enterprises and the versatility requirements of system.Testing indicates the WCAPP system has good practicality and reliability. What' s more, it is well satisfied with the actual demands of enterprise.
