On the base of status of welding process design and property of WCAPP application, the application requirement and function modele was analyzed through criterion of steel press container welding maufacturing process specification. The system framework and running route was put forward. The key technologies of system function module were explained in detail. The structure of product hierarchy information Mode/View/Control based on XML was present. The operation of kinds of metadata which can ensure consistency of product structure data was also described. Seamless integration of AutoCAD design platform and client was implemented with the clipboard technology and WMF file. The joint-drawer module was developed to expand the generation mode of joint image. The NST-WCAPP process solution mode based on synergetic reasoning method was put forward to make up demerit in single CBR or single RBR. The virtual process card solution which made separation between saving and outputing process data was designed by using the third party report output platform. The PQR management module was developed. The relationship of multi table objects and combination research and other operation were present. By using the interactive navigation mode, the PQR matching and joint process solution was realized. Some other function was explained too.
