Performance appraisal refers to the process and method in which enterprises evaluate employees’ work behaviors and achievements by using specific standards and indicators under established strategic objectives,and use the evaluation results to positively guide employees’ future work behaviors and achievements.As an important part of performance management,the significance of performance appraisal is self-evident.It aims to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of employees,start from the most basic kinetic energy unit,promote the benign development of the company,and achieve the strategic goals of the enterprise.Performance assessment is not static,it is a dynamic spiral way,in the assessment process to constantly find and correct problems,forming a virtuous cycle,in gradually improve their own programs,but also further clarify the development of the company,for the improvement of economic benefits and social benefits to make their own contributions.As a medium-sized enterprise established for a long time,X Company has fallen into a development plateau.Employees’ enthusiasm for work decreases,the company has not made a breakthrough in operating efficiency for many years,and the future development direction is also very confused.This paper takes the business department of X Company as the research object.On the one hand,it aims to help solve the actual problems of performance appraisal of the business department of X Company,and let the old company glow with new brilliance;On the other hand,I hope to provide some ideas for other similar market entities to solve the performance appraisal problem based on the small and medium-sized enterprises.This paper mainly studies the following contents: First,it combs the relevant theories and contents of performance appraisal,compares several performance appraisal methods at home and abroad,laying a theoretical foundation for the full text;Second,through questionnaires,interviews and other ways,we comprehensively and deeply understood the current assessment status of X Company,combined with the management and development status of X Company,found out the problems in the performance appraisal scheme of X Company,and finally chose to continue to optimize and upgrade the performance appraisal scheme of X Company with the key indicator method.Third,guided by the weaknesses in the company’s post performance appraisal system,optimize the performance appraisal object,appraisal content,appraisal method,application of appraisal results,and systematically improve the staff performance appraisal system;Fourth,safeguard measures in the implementation of the performance appraisal system.Based on the above research,this paper optimizes the existing performance appraisal scheme of X Company,hoping to clear the management obstacles for the future development of X Company,form a positive working atmosphere in which the top and bottom are united and the talents are available,and promote the efficient and high-quality development of X Company.
