Because of the advantage of hiding drugs peculiar smell, capsule developing quickly. The capsule filling machine which can product capsule is developing quickly. With the developing of capsule, more and more companies focus on the study of how to make high speed and high efficiency capsule filling machine.The capsule filling machine has a lot of advantage, such as simple and easy to use, small in size, low-energy, high productivity and high filling accuracy and so on. In order to designing a capsule filling machine which has higher production speed, more efficient high_speed NJP3500 capsule filling machine will be design in this paper with the virtual prototype technology based on the NJP3200.Following is the main contents of this subject:(1) There are three software who can build the 3D model, which is UG, SOLIDWORKS and PRO/E. In this subject, the model of NJP3500 capsule filling machine will be build, assembled, and simulated by PRO/E, because this software has more powerful functions than others.(2) There are 10 stations on the rotary mechanism of the capsule filling machine. The module and link must cooperate perfectly on every station. Movement relationships of the link on the cam mechanism, the module on the rotary mechanism and the dose plate on the filling mechanism are researched.(3) This subject optimizes the station where capsule discharged based on ADAMS. The displacement curve, velocity curve and acceleration curve of the link will be measured when this station was parametric modeled and simulated. In base of the analysis and evaluation with the sensitivity of the parameters, the target function is optimized to ensure the mechanism with better motion performance.(4) Plate cam is one of important parts in capsule filling machine. It controls the change of the relative spatial location of the upper and lower modules, In order to ensure the movement position precision, the equations of the displacement, the velocity and the acceleration of the followers on the plate cam will be solved by the software MATLAB, then the better performance of the profile of the plate cam is obtained, the production precision has risen accordingly.(5) Based on software ABAQUS, the cam on where capsule be discharged, the plate cam and the support ring will be model analyzed. These parts can be designed reference to the analysis results.
