Filling strip mining technology in gob is an effective way to three-under mining, is one of partial fill mining method. By filling parameters reasonable arrangement, which on the one hand can control surface subsidence to achieve three-under mining, at the same time not do harmful to the environment as much as possible the natural resources mined; on the other hand, compared to the all filling mining technology it can effectively reduce the amount of filling materials, and reduce the cost, and make the filling mining technology widely applied.Green mining technology is at a preliminary stage in China. As a new mining method of three-under mining, filling strip mining technology did not get enough attention. Since the proposed of green mining concept,China has gradually begun to attach importance to strip fill mining techniques, but the theoretical research on the filling strip mining is still in a vacant state. In this paper, taking Caocun mine of Huozhou Coal Power as engineering background, to explore the applicability of plate theory in the parameters arrangment of filling strip mining. And to provides a theoretical basis for parameters arrangement in filling strip mining.Using the plate theory, in the case of determined filling body strength, by analysing the mechanical properties of the basic roof of gob to determine a reasonable Gob strip layout parameters. On this basis, conducting an indoor similar simulation experiments to compare different filling solutions, revealing the effect of different surface control scheme. The simulation results show that the optimal filling stripe width is10m as the same as the spacing. Numerical simulations are conducted on the base of similar simulation experiments, by analysing the displacement and stress distribution of various scheme, conclude the stability of backfill, then make up the deficiencies of similar simulation experiment and verify the applicability of the theory.This paper made a preliminary theoretical study on the parameter arrangement of filling strip mining in gob, provided an theoretical foundation for mine design and construction and also can be used as a reference for further study of filling strip mining technology theory.
