| As a excellent overall performance polymer,Polyoxymethylene(POM) is recognized as one of the world’s top five general-purpose engineering plastics(PA, PC, PBT, PBO, POM).)And the POM’s fiber,as a high performance fiber,the raw materials are quite cheap,and it has advantages at its excellent unique performance, it may have wild application in textile industry in the future.Because the POM’s fiber is difficult to produce,there is just few production in China,and it mainly used in the field of reinforced cement.It is very important to analysis the POM fiber’s physical,chemical properties and its spinnability for develop its application field. This research is the study of POM fiber’s performance,blended yarn’s structure and the study of spinning performance.The research will focus on the following points:(1) Determine the type of POM fiber,and characterization of its performance.analysis the Mechanical properties of POM fiber,the strength of single fiber is 5.97CN/dtex,the strength of bundle fibers are 4.15CN/dtex; analysis the chemical properties of POM fiber,it belongs to the chemical inert materials,and it can be only dissolved in HCL solution(the dissolved quantity is affected by the HCL solution’s concentration,temperature,reaction time,etc),it has very little dissolved in acetone solution and insoluble in Na OH and DMF solution;through thermal properties test we can get the melting point by DSC test is 162℃,thus determines the material we owned is POM copolymer fiber.(2) According to the characteristics of the sample POM fiber to study its spinnability. This research use HF41-01-4 multifunctional spinning frame and ring spun core yarn technology, choose cotton roving and polyester roving these two kinds with POM filament respectively for spinning core-spun yarn. The yarn linear density is58 tex,the twist factor is 470 and the performance of the yarn is best when the after-drafting-ratio is1.35.The 58 tex POM/cotton core-spun yarn spinning process parameter:the spindle speed is 7200r/min,while v1=11.67m/min,v2=1.15m/min,v3=0.85m/min, yarn strength measured is 11.34 N.The 58 tex POM/polyester core-spun yarn spinning process parameter:the spindle speed is 7200r/min,v1=11.67m/min,v2=1.13m/min,v3=0.83m/min,yarn strength measured is 26.24 N.From this part of experiment, POM fiber spinnability was fully proving.(3)The twin 58 tex POM / cotton core-spun yarn and 58 tex POM / polyester core-spun yarn was doubling respectively,by the "S" twist ply into line.The strength of the rope-wires is measured as:58tex POM/cotton core-spun yarn is about 35.24 N,while 58 tex POM/polyester core-spun yarn is 61.51 N.The folded yarn can be used as sewing thread in future.The study try to use the POM filament,the sample of core-spun yarn and the folded yarn.weaving,can verify the development feasibility of those products’ textile. |
