In recent years, the scale of mining industry developed rapidly because the demand for resources in many fields are growing. Deu to the the shallow surface mineral mining production can not meet the demand, many major enterprises make there efforts to mining deep underground mineral. As the underground miners and vehicles are working together in wet, low visiblity, narrow, noisy, harsh environment, resulting in a great security risks. Thus, the underground vehicle safety issues, has been plagued by mining enterprises for a long time. The anti-collision warning system and data acquisition system this paper mainly talk about, are the two parts from intelligent vehicle travelling data recorder, which is developed for the enterprise. This intelligent vehicle travelling data recorder can monitor speed, mileage, driving time and status parameters of the vehicle. The functions including anti-collision warning, positioning, data transmission and driver identification. The purpose to develop this equipment is to solve the underground vehicles safety problems, excluding security risks and reducing the incidence of accidents. At first, this thesis mainly analysis on the environment characteristics of underground and actual demands. Then, the technical principles and basic structures of both system have been studied. Finally, the technical principles, which are adapt to underground environment, have been choosen. Software and hardware design comprehensively consider many facts like product performance, development difficulties, cost and human-computer interaction. When the designs are completed, function tests and analyses have been done to both system. During the design process, a active RFID development kit has been used. The anti-collision warning software is developed based on Windows XP system by using delphi7 and database. The hardware of data acquisition system is developed base on ARM microprocessor core. Schematic and PCB design of the data acquisition systemc are completed; some hardware driverscode have been written and the software platform burning has been finished. The software platform uses Android system, which is based on Linux.
