Water injection flooding is a very important way of exploitation of the oil fielddevelopment.It is an effective and easy method to provide the formation energy andmaintains oilfield longer-term high and stable. It plays a pivotal role in China’s crudeoil production.Usually,existing mainstream water injection processes need1or2days tocomplete a single well water injection job, and each instrument consumes more than200,000RMB each year. This paper studies the existing water injection control systemand analyzes the actual needs of the lack of water injection control system andsystem.After that, a water injection control system based on RFID (Radio FrequencyIdentification, Radio Frequency Identification) technology is proposed.The majorresearch work is as follows:To meet the temperature and pressure requirements for the system4000munderground, this paper researches the thermal resistance of the key chip of RFIDreader, designs the principles and methods of high-temperature circuit, and doesexperiments about heat transfer characteristics for validating the design which canwork reliably in125℃and under60Mpa.The RFID tag is not properly read in the steel pipeline environment. With thefinite element simulation, this paper researches how the eddy current in the pipelineimpacts the magnetic field of antenna. Then, this paper verifies the model byexperiments. Finally, based on the finite element analysis, this paper proposes thesolutions to shield pipeline eddy current, using Mn-Zn ferrite bead to isolate theantenna from the wall. The experiments show that it can improve the magnetic fieldpeak-to-peak of76%, up to66.3A/m which is able to read the label properly.This paper researches the heat-and pressure-resistant encapsulation of RFID tag.The TPU package tag can increase the survival life up to5hours in the125℃workingenvironment.This package meets the need of the water injection system.Complete the system’s hardware and software development, and integrationtesting and reliability testing. The system has passed the field test and been probative. The research shows that the system can control the water injection effectively, andprocess more than four layers by one manipulation. It just needs three hours tocomplete a single well water injection job.
