CNC lathe is short for digital program control lathe. It combines good commonality universal lathe, the machining accuracy high precision lathe and the characteristics of high efficiency special lathe. It is domestic consumption is large, and it is the most widely coverage of a lathe. For the convenience of engineering personnel for engineering design of CNC lathe, aimed at the needs of users demand for the mobile platform, this paper designs and implements the numerical control lathe application software based on Android(X-CNC).It provides users with the file transfer, engineering drawing, parameter setting, generate G code and tool management, etc.In this paper, through analyzing the characteristics of the product and user characteristics, and analyze the needs of the software. Using modular designing scheme, designed the main interface, outline, engineering drawing, craftwork, G code and knife management six modular. The author independently design and implements the main function of the following three modules:(1)Craftwork:It can set rough turning parameter and fine turning parameter. Users can accord to their own needs to set parameter.(2)G Code:It implements the automatic generation of G code, displaying G code and the operation of the G code. It according to the engineering drawing and the process parameters automatically generate G code. Users can modify the G code.(3)Knife Management:It provides knife management functions to users. Users can create, examine or edit information of knives, or remove, disable knives. Users can also according to their own need to modify the knife offset.The author also cooperation completed Outline modular: This module mainly is drawing function of engineering drawing. Users can choose to add different components, or modify or delete any of the component. It Can also add screw or chamfering(only rectangular) to components.Functional verification results in this paper show that the X-CNC satisfied the requirements of the users. It can complete basic operation process and run in the numerical control machine emulator. At present, the project is still in the internal test phase. When it launched will bring great convenience to the user’s work.
