In the marine environment, alternating wet and dry, if the metal components exposed directly to the environment, they would be eroded soon, and result in failure. Therefore, in order to improve the corrosion resistance and environmental adaptability of metal, coating must be prepared on the metal surface of the components. At this stage, there are two main spray methods of coating at home and abroad, they are handheld and manipulator type. And, as a result, spray region is limited to a very small range, which can do nothing of the case of large-scale construction. Aiming at this phenomenon, the recent domestic and international research about the processes and methods of amorphous coatings preparation are studied in this thesis. And the performance requirements and process requirements during the amorphous coating preparation process are analyzed, which includes surface pretreatment, spray speed, coating temperature, coating thickness, coating porosity, and so on.Aiming at the performance and process requirements of coating itself and devices in the preparation of amorphous coatings, combined with the situation of the construction site, the construction process of amorphous coatings has been worked out in this thesis, including pretreatment and after-treatment.As required, according to workshop construction situation and locale construction situation, two different devices are designed, respectively:the workshop spray and test device of amorphous coating and the locale spray and test device of amorphous coating. The components of two devices are designed, including the arrangement of all components, in and out equipment design, type selection of spray device and type selection of assisted components. And, the devices are theoretically analyzed to see whether eligible.The workshop spray and test device of amorphous coating and the locale spray and test device of amorphous coating are analyzed by ANS YS software, and the simulation results for strength and rigidity are checked. According to the results, in the workshop spray and test device of amorphous coating, the maximum stress of spray room’s container is less than the allowable stress of corten steel SPAH, they satisfy the strength requirement; the largest deformation of container occurs in the middle region of the container’s bottom, consistenting with the theoretical calculation of the moment peak position, they satisfy the rigidity requirement. In the locale spray and test device of amorphous coating, the maximum stress of spray structure with guide rail and surpport structure are both less than the allowable stress of material, they satisfy the strength requirement. The largest deformation of the whole device, the guide rail and the surpport structure are not beyond the limitation, they satisfy the rigidity requirement.The control system of the spray and test device of amorphous coatings is studied, the operating logic of each system is sorted out, the hardware configuration is designed, and associated signal and data’s acquisition and conversion process is studied, so that the device can be achieved as mechatronics.Preliminary achievements in spray and test device of two kinds of construction sites are gived, and these will guide the further production of the two devices in the future.
