| The components and physical-chemical characteristics of rural household solid waste were analyzed and villagers’ willing of garbage classification and awareness of environmental protection were investigated, and ecological treatment model for rural household solid waste was put forward according to field survey and analysis of garbage sample at Renfu village in Baimaiqiao town and at Lianhuashan in Zhuliangqiao twon in Ningxiang county in this paper. The results are as following:(1) The rural household solid waste was collected together without any classification at present. The survey on villagers shows that there are73%villagers from Renfu Village and64%villagers from Lianhuashan Village expressing their supports for classification, reduction, and recycling utilization of domestic waste, which shows that domestic waste can be treated by classification and resource utilization process mode with a certain mass base.(2) The rural household solid waste can be divided into11categories:kitchen waste, rubber, plastics, paper, wood, textile, metasl, glass, lime, ceramic tiles, and hazardous waste. The percentages of the above waste are as following respectively:52.57%,3.88%,6.57%,4.31%,2.24%,2.38%,5.18%,5.87%,10.29%,5.28%, and1.43%. The physical-chemical characteristics analysis shows that the moisture contents of waste in Lianhuashan Village and Renfu Village are65.97%and67.77%respectively, the total nitrogen contents are0.12g/kg and0.14g/kg respectively, the total phosphorus contents are5.43g/kg and6.00g/kg respectively, the organic matter contents are326.11g/kg and337.24g/kg respectively, and the low calorific values are1761.53kJ/kg and2325.43kJ/kg respectively. The organic matters contents in Lianhua Village and Renfu Village are3.26times and3.37times of the Chinese standard limits respectively. The result also shows that the percent of organic matter alters significantly as the season changes, while the percent of the rural solid waste that can be recycled and the percent of the hazardous waste stay stable as he season changes.(3) Rural domestic waste ecologicalization process mode:According to the components and physical-chemical characteristics of domestic waste from Renfu Village and Lianhuashan Village the rural domestic waste was classified. Taking rural ecosystem as the process system, with a variety of treatment techniques and methods coexisting, and household, village, county, city multi-level utilization and process, it maximizes the local consumption in the rural ecologicalization system, which contributes to a90%consumption of the rural domestic waste. Compared with the traditional rural domestic waste process mode (Household or village collecting, household only taking a small part of the classification and recycling of waste-Township transportation-County treatment), the ecologicalization process mode wins more environmental, economic and social benefits. By treating the rural domestic waste in this ecologicalization process mode, the two villages can save9950.8m3/a and3564.8m3/a respectively to the landfill site in the township, reducing TN pollutants produced by fertilizers45.48t/a and15.31t/a respectively. The economic benefits can be706,900RMB/a and193,200RMB/a respectively because of the rural domestic waste ecologicalization process mode. Twenty more job vacancies can be made through establishing an environmental cooperative in rural areas.(4) In order to keep ecologicalization process mode running permanently, this paper proposes safeguard, operation management and technology mechanisms. |
