| Plastic which is a kind of material of a wide applications and the huge volume use, haspenetrated into all aspects of life.With the development of society,single plastic often can notmeet the use requirements,composite materials that is with more comprehensive performanceemerge.Although composite plastic can improve the plastic properties,it exists complicatedproblem in the supply and price, recovery and reuse of waste degradation. Therefore,it is a newsubject which develops new composite material.Plant fiber composite material which has a wide source, low price, and easy degradation ofadvantages, with plant fiber composite materials will be the development trend in compositematerials industry instead of the traditional plastic. Bamboo which is a kind of structure ofnatural composite materials, has a good waterproof performance, high strength, good elasticity,the proportion of small, cheap price, growth quickly.So the bamboo fiber composite materialwill become a new development and applicationmaterials.The macromolecular initiator was prepared using bamboo pulp fibers modified by2-Bromoisobutyryl bromide (BIBB) with different beating degree, different reaction time andunder different reaction temperatures. The two different grafting methods, atom transfer radicalpolymerization (ATRP) and activators generated by electron transfer atom transfer radicalpolymerization (AGETATRP) were adopted and compared. The result showed that AGETATRPwas a better method in its efficiency. Finally, the best modification conditions, includingmonomer concentration, catalyst concentration and reaction time and temperature, were studiedto get the best product quality by AGETATRP grafting.After determining the optimal modifying condition, the bamboo pulp fiber surface graftesglycidyl methacrylate and isoprene, so to expand the scope of application of bamboo fibergrafting or to provide enhanced body more choice. |
