Nowadays,bamboo fiber is used in the field of composite materials as a new high-performance natural plant fiber,which shows broad application prospects and great market value.At present,there are two common processes of preparing bamboo fiber thermoplastic composites in the industry.(1)non-woven felt molding process,which first makes bamboo fiber into felt and then prepared by hot pressing or injection molding process;(2)granulation molding process,which uses granulator to mix bamboo fiber and thermoplastic matrix and then carries on the secondary hot pressing or injection molding.Because the forming process of the two processes(felt or injection molding,granulation link)has high requirements for the morphology,draw ratio,size and impurity content of the fiber,and the secondary processing makes the production cost higher,the development and utilization of bamboo fiber composites is limited to a certain extent.At present,there are great differences in geometric morphology,size of bamboo fiber and high powder content,so it is difficult to prepare bamboo fiber composite with excellent properties by traditional bamboo fiber composite molding technology.For the above reasons,the preparation technology of bamboo fiber,the hot-pressing process of new bamboo fiber/PP film,the effect of different bamboo fiber factors of the mechanical properties of bamboo fiber/PP composite and the application of bamboo fiber thermoplastic composite was studied in this paper.The specific contents and results of the study are as follows:1?The preparation methods of bamboo fiber were studied,and the effect of the softening process of the properties of bamboo fiber was analyzed.The experimental results show the average breaking strength,elongation at break and elastic modulus of bamboo fiber prepared by rolling method are 2906.77cN,6.07%and 226GPa,respectively2?The forming method of bamboo fiber/PP composite was studied,and hot-pressing process of new high-performance environmentally friendly bamboo fiber/PP film was put forward for the first time.A new type of bamboo fiber composite was prepared by using different bamboo fiber grid structure.The influence of different bamboo fiber arrangement structures of the properties of the composite was analyzed and the technological parameters of the new hot-pressing process were optimized.The experimental results are as follows:the mechanical properties of the bedding layer>the mechanical properties of the bamboo fiber grid structure>the mechanical properties of the orthogonal laminate layer,and the bending properties and impact properties of the laminate layer are 50.7MPa and 68.18kJ/m2,respectively.The optimum hot-pressing parameters of bamboo fiber/PP composites are as follows:hot-pressing temperature 200 ?,hot-pressing time 5 min.3?The main factors affecting the mechanical properties of bamboo fiber composites were analyzed,and the effects of fiber content,Bamboo species(Neosinocalamus affinis,Dendrocalamus membranceus Munro,Phyllostachys heterocycla(Carr.)Mitford cv.Pubescens),bamboo parts(bamboo,bamboo,bamboo roots)and bamboo age(1-5 years old)on the mechanical properties of bamboo fiber composites were obtained.The experimental results show that the bamboo fiber/PP composites were prepared by using 3-year-old bamboo.When the content of bamboo fiber is 40%,the mechanical properties are the best;when the content of bamboo fiber is 50%,the water absorption property of bamboo fiber/PP composite prepared by one year old bamboo bamboo is better,and the bamboo position has little effect on the water absorption property of the composite.
