Forest resources information system constructed by WEBGIS bring the GIS's powerful capabilities of data management and spatial analysis into the management of forest resources and try to bring AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) into WEBGIS to solve the shortcomings in aspects of System response and using.In this Paper, Jiangxi wooded land of Yushu in Qinghai Province is the research areas. The General design line of the system is determined by designing systems requirements analysis and comparing the existing WEBGIS technology. Building the ACCESS database with the date of forest management inventory and basic geographic for data storage and management and using the language c # and JavaScript, forest resources information system which based on RIA is design by AJAX Controls and Ajax Scripts in SUMPERMAP IS.NET6.0 on the ASP.NET 2.0 Platform with IIS5.1 web server and ASP. NET AJAX model. The system has the function of data management; various forms of query; thematic map design and fire protection Engineering, also offers a good user experience using the new technology.
