Science Service industry just started in China, the several of big companies occupy the market in oversea. Along with global competition development, in recent years, several big companies start to set up Strategic Sourcing Center in Asia. The quality of outsourced product will encounter challenge as the important one of three key factors in sourcing.The company A is the world leader in serving science, mainly provides a complete portfolio of laboratory equipment, software, services, consumables and reagents chemicals used in healthcare, scientific research, safety and education. 30%-40% products of total sale products are not built by the company A, but these products are manufactured by OEM suppliers of the company A and these products belong to distributed products.The articles mainly research the quality management on the distributed products from the company A in China. First, the quality problems encountered to the company A are listed and described in details. Second,the root causes that resulted in these quality problems is found out. Third, these factors caused these quality problem are separated and summarized on the basis of three stakeholders (Asian Sourcing Center, Oversea Sites of the company A , Suppliers). At last, these key factors and potential main factors are summarized in Fish-bond chart. The four-step solution is raised to solve these quality problems. The improvement on the supplier quality management is key core of the paper. It including supplier choose, advanced supplier development,supplier evaluation and supplier training. In order to ensure the upper improvement were implemented and executed smoothly, the company A added the technical engineers and made the adjustment to the sourcing process and organization chart. At last, the positive result validate the improved method is effective for the supplier quality management system improvement.The author takes use of quality tool, for example: 5WHYs and Cause-effect chart to analyze these quality problems. Meanwhile, the systematic method is creatively employed in the improvement of the company A to solve the quality problem and prevent its reoccurrence. And the method was validated as effectiveness by practices proves. The article can provide a certain reference meaning for the quality improvement to supplier that may supply the distributed product or similar product.
