Along with the new round of telecom restructuring, China Telecom operators officially entered the era of 3G whole business competition. With the service level of the whole industry improving, the gap between the major operators reduce gradually, customer loyalty is also changing.With the continuous development of telecommunication technology, low-value of voice services accelerated, internet-based information technology development space is larger than excepted. As an important part in the strategic transformation of China Telecom, Best Tone is excepted to seize the opportunities of information development, implement the customer focused information innovation strategy.The research integrated the information service industry and value chain theory, from information market competition environment and user desire aspects, explore the information service business development strategy of China Telecom Best Tone, mainly from the core step of information service value chain and user two parts.Firstly, as the middle part core operator of information services value chain, Best Tone not only face with the fierce competition from the same industry of China Mobile, but also from traditional internet search service providers and new internet information service corporations. Best Tone should take the advantages of itself, make clear its market development strategy.Secondly, in the current competitive market environment, operators are increasingly concerned about users. Making the user demand-driven information service business positioning and development strategy became the key for operators in the market competition to survival. According to user desire, this research analyze the market positioning of Best Tone related businesses and key business selection from consumption, management, media, and other information aspects.
