Development Of Residential Space Of Affordable Housing In Chongqing Master City Under The Background Of Harmonious Society

Since the 1990's, the system has transited from central-planned economy to market economy. The phenomenon of rapidly increasing urbanization and social stratum of city residents has become obvious. At the same time, with the deepening of the post-1998 market-oriented housing system, housing shortage and housing contradiction began to appear in the lower-income groups, and trigger a series of social problems .It also will affect urban development and building the harmonious society. In addition, the world economic crisis become stabilize after 2009, China's housing market has set off another round of price rising, and pushed the housing price onto the wave in the limelight again. In this background, affordable housing provides absolution to that problem. But by the rules of market economy and the impact of socio-economic patterns, government arranged the affordable housing in the city periphery. Economic and social status of disadvantaged populations are expelled from the mainstream of society .The residential differentiation is accelerated artificially.In this context, the thesis discuss the affordable housing in Chongqing master city. The current population characteristics and affordable housing spatial characteristics of affordable housing are investigated at properties of the residential space of the social and material. In order to understand and solve the housing problem of affordable housing in the city and propos feasibility strategy, and also contribute to urban planning construction, the thesis wants to make a guide the planning and construction to control and mitigate the issues related to the purpose of circumvention.The paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1 mainly elaborates the background, research significance, the relative conceptions of this topic research and the framework of the thesis and so on.Chapter 2 focuses on the thesis's fundamental research. It includes affordable housing research, residential space research, and the domestic policy of affordable housing. The part from Chapter 3 to Chapter 5 focuses on the demonstration research of residential space of affordable housing in Chongqing. Firstly Chapter 3 summarizes urban development and inhabitation construction status of Chongqing city, analyzing the present characteristic of residential space of affordable housing. It also emphasizes the characteristics of the population groups and residential space requirements, concluding the characteristics of spatial distribution of affordable housing from the macro to micro level.Chapter 4 discusses the impetus mechanism of residential space of affordable housing from the angle of government intervention as well as urban sociology, and compares with policy of affordable housing in Beijing.
